First of all, the speaker should be placed in a location away from direct sunlight. It should not be placed next to the radiator or in a place where the temperature is too low, otherwise it will cause blistering on the surface of the cabinet or aging of the electrical components. Do not place the speaker in a humid environment for a long time. , So as not to make the voice coil rusty or moldy. In addition, do not place the speaker too close to the CRT monitor, even if it is an antimagnetic speaker, it will have a certain impact on the monitor. Similarly, the speakers should be kept away from strong magnetic fields. If the mobile phone is close to the speakers, the speakers will be noisy when a call comes in.

Secondly, sometimes in order to save space, speakers are often placed under the computer desk or stacked together, which is extremely unscientific. Even with the best sound card and high-end speakers, there will be no good sound performance in this case, let alone the presence of sound field positioning. The correct way should be: place the display symmetrically around the center (take a normal 2.1 speaker as an example), and ensure that the speaker is facing the user. The position of the subwoofer can be more flexible because of its weak directivity. For loud speakers that often turn on the volume, it is best to use a floor stand, not directly on the computer desk, so as not to resonate with the desk and cause distortion.

The various parts of the speaker are mostly sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity, such as wood veneer, paper cones, tweeter silk membranes, hanging edges, centering brackets, adhesives, voice coils, etc. If the temperature is too low or too high, it will affect the stability of these parts. The influence of humidity is also great. If it is too dry, the veneer outside the speaker will burst, and the thick wooden box will easily crack. If the humidity is too high, the sound cone is prone to damp and mildew, resulting in weak sound playback, and the exposed metal connecting wires are also prone to oxidation. At this time, you need to use physical methods such as placing water or desiccant to adjust the humidity.

In addition, dust removal of the speakers is also very important. When you do not listen to the speakers, you must add a dust cover to prevent accidental touching of the playback unit. The surface of the speaker can be wiped with a towel dampened in water and wrung out, but do not get the speaker unit wet. It can be turned on after the water is completely dry.

Since active speakers have built-in power amplifiers, the power amplifier chip is most afraid of direct impacts from large (instant) currents. Therefore, it is best to turn the volume to the minimum and then turn it on again. After turning on the power, the volume can be turned up normally. The same is true when shutting down, turn down the volume first and then turn off the power.

After playing at a high volume for a long time, the rear panel of the speaker becomes very hot, so pay special attention to it at this moment. In addition, the volume of the speakers should not be turned on too much, at most 1/2.
